It all began when I enrolled in the Economics Department. It wasn’t because I had dreamed of it my whole life, but rather due to a particular turn of events. However, it turned out to be a highly successful starting point that benefited me repeatedly throughout my life. My education provided the foundation that later enabled me to manage budgets, build financial models, and develop product price lists and licensing systems.

I became interested in IT early in my institute studies. My self-study and efforts to hone my IT skills led to a position as an engineer at HP. Working for this international corporation taught me the fundamentals of computer hardware, how to interact with clients and users, and essential communication skills.

My experience at HP shaped my future career path. An understanding of IT infrastructure operations steered me toward process administration, starting with system administration. I progressed from a junior system administrator to a lead specialist, taking responsibility for multiple buildings as well as the optimization and upgrading of the entire infrastructure. In this role, I honed my skills in infrastructure management, team leadership, and budget planning, while collaborating closely with subcontractors, clients, and end-users.

Choosing a Primary Path
Having experience across various IT areas helped me determine my primary path for future growth and development: I decided to focus on software. My next step was the field of systems integration. I worked with dozens of diverse IT products, obtained certifications, and handled the implementation, maintenance, and scaling of client-server software, while also developing product collateral and go-to-market strategies. By combining my deep understanding of the sales lifecycle with a proven ability to align cross-functional teams, I was rapidly promoted to Head of Pre-sales. My client-facing responsibilities increased, and I also took on the role of training pre-sales engineers and sales staff. In total, I spent seven years honing my expertise in product integration.

Given the strong link between design, the product, and the user experience, I decided to master the principles of graphic design and dive deeper into brand design and UX/UI. Whether creating something from scratch or analyzing and optimizing existing work, this kind of creativity delivers value to both companies and end users. Combining my product experience with design—what could be better?
I’ve fully immersed myself in design: I completed two general design courses, two Figma courses, and five UX courses, and worked on several projects from the ground up.
